World Challenge

KRUGER TO COAST  2015

In July 2015, nineteen of our Y11 and VI form students travelled to South Africa, Mozambique and Swaziland on a month long expedition with World Challenge. The experience consisted of a project painting a village school and whale watching research in Mozambique; a week’s trek in the mountains of the last absolute kingdom of Swaziland and finally an amazing three day safari in The Kruger National Park.
Our students were able to snorkel, go on safari and play with some of the local children all whilst taking turns to be responsible for leading the group. The whole group performed a range of rota’d duties including logistics, environmental officers and budget management whilst in country.
If you are in y10 or above and are interested in our next World Challenge expedition for 2017, we hope to announce details in the New Year.
