As part of the Pippins topic this term on Recycling and The Environment, we took the children to Sykes’ Timber Yard in Atherstone. During the visit, the children were interested to learn about different varieties of trees and the many types of wood they produce.
In keeping with our topic, we brought some wood back to the Nursery with us and we plan to recycle it into a Totem Pole for the Nursery Garden.
