Ken Hydon is a non-executive director of three large FTSE 100 companies: Tesco, Reckitt Benckiser and Pearson. He was among the cabal, which included Sir Christopher Gent and Sir Julian Horn-Smith, who transformed Vodafone into a global colossus from a small subsidiary of Racal Electronics. He joined Racal in 1977 and was finance director of Vodafone from 1985 to 2005.
Mr Hydon is a non-executive director of the Royal Berkshire NHS Foundation Trust, the healthcare provider.
