Students, families and teachers celebrated another year of excellent results at the Dixie Grammar School this morning which saw over 95% of all students awarded places at their chosen universities. Subject teachers and Sixth Form tutors were in school early this morning to ensure that all students received the help and support they needed to finalise their plans for September and their futures.

Special mention should be made of Maya Richichi’s outstanding results. Maya, who joined the Dixie in the Pippins Nursery, has secured a place at Durham University to study Philosophy and Theology after achieving an outstanding grades of A*A*A in Psychology, Religious Studies and Biology.

Alongside her academic achievements, Maya led the School Council, representing the student voice with maturity and purpose. She also volunteered to help with Religious Studies lessons as part of the Dixie’s Subject Leaders Award, showcasing her ability to simplify complex concepts for others. Her teachers have no doubt that she will excel in her chosen field and prove to be an incredible asset to Durham University.

Similarly Anish Tanna has achieved outstanding academic success, securing A*A A B grades and a place to study Economics, Finance and Data Science at Imperial College London

Alongside his academic achievements, Anish is a tennis coach and a Gold Duke of Edinburgh award recipient, demonstrating his commitment to giving back to his community and pursuing personal challenges. His success is a testament to his resilience, courage and academic rigour, with a promising career in finance ahead.
