At The Dixie we recognise that some of our students experience specific learning difficulties and aim to support these students as fully as possible.
We can arrange for screening for a number of conditions such as dyslexia / dyscalculia and, as a result, parents may choose to have their sons/daughters more formally tested. Positive diagnosis of certain conditions may sometimes enable students to receive extra time or support for examinations. We offer advice and support throughout this process.
It is possible to arrange for one to one /group support lessons with a specialist dyslexia teacher in school although parents should be aware that these are charged for in addition to school fees.
