The range and quality of co-curricular activities available to every pupil is outstanding, especially for a school of our size. Our pupils’ development and achievements in these areas are supported by wonderful facilities and highly dedicated staff.
Pupils can see and sign up for all activities on offer via our school-wide platform Epraise. These take place at lunchtimes and after school and pupils enjoy a range of clubs and societies from practical training in Beekeeping to mini Shakespeare performances in Drama Club. As pupils move through the school they discover new challenges in the Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and the World Challenge Expeditions as well as continuing lunchtime activities at academic drop-ins, Philosophy Club and Dixie Apprentice. Pupils of all ages also enjoy an extensive package of sports and musical activities.
We firmly believe in the importance of making the most of all that is on offer here. Participation, challenge and achievement across the board help our pupils grow into mature, responsible young people. As well as reflecting our core values of respect, resilience, courage, commitment and care, our co-curricular programme helps our pupils to believe in, to value and to respect themselves.
