The Dixie Grammar School GCSE Results 2025

There were scenes of joy and celebration this morning as Year 11 students and their families arrived at the Dixie Grammar School to collect their GCSE results. With their teachers ready to meet them and share in their success, students also got to see the fully refurbished Sixth Form House and Sixth Form Coffee Shop which will be at the heart of their school life from September.

With more than one in four exams being awarded a grade 8 or 9 and over 40% grade 7 or above, this year’s students can be hugely proud of their collective achievements.

Following these excellent results and very successful A level and BTEC bridging courses before the summer break, the Dixie looks forward to welcoming back the vast majority of our Year 11 to the Sixth Form at the start of the new year, along with a group of new students joining from other schools.

We are delighted that 20% of all students averaged grade 8 or above, across at least 9 subjects, and special mention should be made of Dara Davidchack and Marcin Shields each with 6 GCSEs at grade 9, including full marks for Marcin in his German exams. Similarly, Ruby Baker, Lizzie Daniels, Will Frow, Phoebe Lowe, and Sam Watts all achieved at least four GCSEs at the coveted grade 9.

Headmaster, Mr Richard Lynn, commented:

“Alongside fantastic academic achievement, this entire cohort has demonstrated an array of talent and remarkable character in the many areas of Dixie school life, which will undoubtedly set them up for continued future success. They have distinguished themselves as ambassadors for our values of respect, resilience, courage, commitment and care – we could not be prouder.”
