Year 6 students have been thinking hard in PSHCE and Science lessons and have come up with a range of new inventions with a space theme. Inventions ranged from a retractable phone case (prevents you dropping or losing your portable communication device), string on a pen lid (simple yet effective way of stopping you losing your pen lid) to an Advanced Planetary Exploration System (NASA are you watching!). Students demonstrated their prototypes and gave a sales pitch to invited guests – their parents. Everyone was impressed with all the students’ confidence, enthusiasm and high level of communication skills when discussing their inventions. Business cards were exchanged and negotiations have already started on the next stage of product development.
