Friday 1st May saw all the Junior and Nursery School children celebrate May Day in traditional style. The children, from the youngest 3 year olds in Pippins Nursery, through to Year 5, performed a variety of ever more complicated dances. These included the Barber’s Pole, Spider’s Web and Helter Skelter.
Joseph took on the role of May King with Eleanor as his May Queen. Their attendants were Jake and Alayna. These Year 5 children proudly announced the dances.
The children thoroughly enjoyed the day especially when their parents joined them to perform the Circassian Circle.
