Year 4 Maths LeadersFrom start to finish our Senior School maths leaders had the year 4 pupils engaged and working with smiles on their faces. Not many teachers could get a class of Year 4 to work on Maths for 1 hr and 15 mins! The activities they provided were linked to previous work, different, fun and challenging for all within the mixed ability group. The children loved the competition element in the end task and all got very excited. Some of the more able students wanted to understand the long multiplication method that they were unaware of. Tom showed them the method and really dealt with their questions on the spot and promptly. Both had a lovely manner with the children and kept them all on track.
