On Tuesday this week, all Year 10 students were involved in a physics workshop run by the energy company E-ON. The theme was to investigate options for different renewable energy resources for a fictional town in the UK. The highlight for most students was the practical session building and testing wind turbines, hydro-electric systems and solar panel systems to generate electricity.
