COMMUNITY TREE PLANTING EVENTThis winter we were given a grant of over a thousand trees by the Woodland Trust. Having planted some at the Junior School and created a hedge around our DOSE area on the Barton Road Sports Ground, we planted the rest on Nutswood Pastures, creating a wood to commemorate the centenary of the end of the Great War and as a legacy for future generations. Over 50 parents and members of the Bosworth community joined Year 6 and participated in the planting yesterday afternoon, with 1000 trees given new homes within the hour. Many thanks to all for making such an inspirational community event possible.
