We are very proud of our award winning Equestrian Team and Team manager Suki Stripp. She in turn is a very proud Dixie equestrian coach /team manager:
“I thought I would send you a quick report to let you know how well the Dixie Equestrian show jumping team did at the NSEA grass root show jumping championships
Back in March 2019 our Junior and senior teams qualified for the show jump championships at NSEA. Nov 3rd 2019 we travelled the team of parents ponies and children to compete on behalf of The Dixie at the regional finals in Doncaster.
Wow we flew the flag as the results are as follows:
1. 40cm grass root regional final show jumping championships we got a team gold (1st place)
Riders were Lilymay Dawe /Annie Baron/Florence Pawley
Annie also won the style award and fastest individual time on her pony.
2. 50cm championship the team got a bronze (3rd placing )
Oliver Dunk /Lilymay Dawe /Flo Baron /Ella Seemann
3. 60 cm championship
Team Silver (2nd)
Flo Baron /Emily O’Higgins /Oliver Dunk Flo winning fastest individual time.
4. 70 cm championship 1st place (individual gold)

What a great day we all had! The equestrian centre commented how kind and polite the children were and great horsemanship was displayed throughout the long day
Parents had a great time too watching how well their children and ponies have progressed.
I felt so proud of all the children they turned their ponies out immaculately – not a spot of dirt or grease to be seen and their tack/equipment shone throughout.
All the hard work pays off and it was a pleasure to say I’m so proud of all the coaching and hard work the children put into this as it’s not a cheap sport and the hours of training and per serving certainly paid off!”
