Staff and students at the Dixie were privileged to listen to the remarkable and inspiring story of Darren Edwards.
Darren suffered a life-changing injury whilst climbing in 2016 and has been left paralysed from the chest down.
Despite seemingly impossible challenges put in his way, his story is ultimately one of triumph, friendship and love and Darren is able to communicate resilience and the power of mental strength like few others.
Darren’s latest challenge of completing 7 marathons in 7 days on 7 continents begins in October 2022 and the school community will be watching his progress with admiration and doing all we can to support him.
