Dixie students have had a spectacular three days competing in the British Showjumping Just for Schools Championships at the David Broome Event Centre in Chepstow.
Suki Stripp, team manager for the Dixie Grammar School Equestrian Team, commented how incredibly proud she is of the students, who showed real poise, talent and maturity during the competition, which is a result of outstanding commitment to training over the long, and wet, winter months.
All students can be proud of what they achieved, with the Dixie taking home a hat-trick of team title in the Winter Teams 60cm and 70 cm Final and the Winter Teams 1m Championship.
A spokesperson for the school commented, “Suki brings real passion to all she does for equestrianism at the Dixie. Her lunchtime club allows all pupils the chance to share in that and the way the team conduct themselves in competition and what they achieve is celebrated by all. Courage, commitment and resilience are three of our core values and this team demonstrates these at the highest level.”
