As detailed below, there are a number of key events scheduled throughout the year to welcome visitors to our Nursery, Junior School, Senior School and Sixth Form. In addition, we welcome enquiries and we are very happy to arrange visits to the school at any time during the school year. For any enquiry, please call 01455 292244 or email us on registrar@dixie.org.uk.
Saturday Open Mornings
If the weekend is most convenient for you to visit us, please come along to one of our whole school Open Morning events, which this year take place on Saturday 4th October 2025 and Saturday 9th May 2026. Families will have the chance to visit the Nursery, the Junior School and our beautiful Reception classrooms, as well as the Senior School and our Sports Ground at Barton Road. Parents and children will have the chance to participate in fun activities and to speak with staff and pupils in an informal setting. Please either call us on 01455 292244 or email us at registrar@dixie.org.uk to register your interest.
Weekday Visits
If you would prefer to visit on a weekday, we have several ‘open door’ days throughout the school year to give families the chance to visit us on a normal working day. Such visits include a guided tour with pupils, a visit to our sports ground and the opportunity to meet key members of staff. The next opportunity for this will be in November 2025 and appointments can be made either by calling us on 01455 292244 or by emailing us at registrar@dixie.org.uk. We are very happy to arrange a tour of the school at any time suitable time, however, so if this date is not convenient, please feel free to contact us to arrange an alternative day.
Sixth Form Open Evening
Our next Sixth Form Open Evening will be held in November 2025 in the School Hall. During this Open Evening, current and prospective parents and pupils will be offered an insight into life in the Sixth Form at Dixie and there will be opportunities to learn more about our post-18 guidance, our tutor system, UCAS, leadership opportunities, co-curricular activities, our enrichment programme, the EPQ and much more. Sixth Form subject teachers will also be on hand to discuss A level study and to answer any questions you may have.
Please call us on 01455 292244, email registrar@dixie.org.uk or visit our Sixth Form page for more details. We look forward to seeing you there.
Taster Days
Taster days are often the next step for prospective pupils and their families following a visit. Over one or two days, pupils have the chance to get to know the pupils in their year group and experience all the Dixie has to offer first-hand. Such days are arranged carefully and with detailed consideration of each new pupil’s circumstances in conjunction with their families.
We hope that all contact with us gives you a flavour of the caring, family atmosphere that is so much a hallmark of life at the Dixie. If you have any questions or queries, please get in touch and we will do all we can to answer them. Simply call us on 01455 292244 or email us at registrar@dixie.org.uk. We look forward to hearing from you and to welcoming you to the Dixie.
