We currently have a vacancy for a Fixed term Maternity cover role (1 year) RS & History Teacher within the Senior School.

You will be:

  • A Qualified teacher with a passion for RS & History, NQT considered
  • A creative person, able to respond dynamically to a changing learning environment
  • Energetic and enthusiastic in your ability and desire to provide a rich and varied learning environment
  • Able to deliver the curriculum at KS 3 & 4
  • An effective communicator and team player, able to liaise with parents and colleagues
  • Flexible and willing to support all areas of school life, including extra-curricular activities (where appropriate)

 

The successful candidate must have:

  • experience of delivering the subject curriculum for RS & History GCSE to exam board requirements
  • the ability to adapt practice to the needs of different learners
  • the ability to plan delivery to enable all students to access the curriculum and which reflect individual needs
  • have a good understanding of Safeguarding in Schools (however training will also be provided)

The post is full-time for 1 year – Fixed Term. Salary is dependent upon experience, plus benefits such as complimentary lunches, ongoing professional development and a generous matched pension contribution.
