Mrs Knight Teacher of Art & Design – Completing a banner designed by The Dixie Grammar School to contribute to this weekend’s commemorative final journey of Richard III. The banner will be displayed outside The Forge in Park Street. Mrs Knight was helped by Millie Feeney (Y11) and Ruth Hope (Sixth Form).

A large audience enjoyed a wonderful evening yesterday at the Music department’s GCSE soiree. A wealth of talent was on display and an eclectic range of instruments (including Sam Keys’ composition for accordion and violin!). Congratulations to all involved in making it such a memorable evening.

Members of the Astro club have been competing to design and test a suitable device to land an “eggonaut” safely. The winners (Helena Brown and Ella Briddick 7D) received a Train like an Astronaut T- shirt each as their fresh “eggonaut” survived a drop, with no visible cracks, from the highest point in the school.
